Mr. Stogner is currently President of Crestview Real Estate, LLC, which specializes in development, leasing, and management of commercial real estate, primarily in the retail sector. In addition, Mr. Stogner is also a founding partner of The Cogent Group, which specializes in the acquisition and disposition of net leased properties throughout the United States.
Mr. Stogner began his commercial real estate career in Dallas, Texas, in 1984. He was with S.C. Companies in Dallas for over 20 years prior to forming Crestview Real Estate in 2008. During his career, he has been involved in the entitlement, development, and construction of in excess of 7,500,000 square feet of commercial space. This includes grocery-anchored and specialty retail as well as single-tenant build-to-suits.
Throughout his career, Mr. Stogner has worked with pension fund advisors, high net worth family offices, and private investors. Tenants that he has worked with include Tom Thumb, Randalls, Safeway/Albertsons, Costco, Wal-Mart, Walgreen’s, CVS, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Chili’s, Cheddar’s, Starbucks, McDonald’s, Chick-fil-A, TJ Maxx, Academy, and Whataburger, as well as many other national and local credit tenants.
Mr. Stogner earned a BBA from Baylor University with concentrations in Management, Marketing, and Real Estate, where he was also a football letterman. He has served on the Board of Directors of Goodwill Industries of Dallas, the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors and Real Estate Professionals (NTCAR), Compass Ministries, the W.A. Criswell Foundation, and was President of the Highland Park Sports Club while also serving on its Board of Directors. In addition, he served on the Board of Directors of CrossFirst Bank (CFB) based in Leawood, Kansas, with offices in Dallas. Mr. Stogner joined the Board when CrossFirst was privately held and a member of the Board when they went public in 2019. CrossFirst merged with Busey Bank (BUSE) in 2025, which ended his tenure as a Director.
Besides being a licensed Real Estate Broker in Texas, Grey holds memberships in International Council Shopping Centers, North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors, and The Real Estate Council of Dallas.
Mr. Stogner resides in Dallas with his wife, Mona Carlton Stogner, a Senior Managing Director with JLL. They have 4 grown children: Tayler Stogner Lee, Darby Stogner, Shelby Stogner Mayer, and Dalton Stogner; as well as 5 grandchildren.
